Manager, Equity Programs – Remote US

SC Staffing & Consulting’s client is seeking an expert Manager, Equity Programs. This position leads the company’s stock administration, including global equity plans and platform management, and owns the equity administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer equity plans for US and global employees.
  • Maintain equity data, including grants, exercises, and all other activities.
  • Management of third-party (Fidelity) equity administration platform.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors, brokers, and agents.
  • Provide first line equity support to all employees, management, and others.
  • Support employee education and understanding of equity programs and policies.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for controls and applicable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of equity award data as well as any required regulatory support.
  • Assist with trading plans as well as other relevant SEC documentation required for public company reporting.
  • Establish equity and stock administration programs, developing functional relationships across applicable stakeholders for effective execution of corporate matters and deliverables.
  • Continuously build and improve equity and stock programs, by corporate education and continuous process improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • CEP certification(s), preferred.
  • 5+ years direct experience in equity management and stock administration.
  • Expert understanding in the administration of global equity plans, ESPP programs.
  • Deep understanding of equity management platforms, Carta and Fidelity, preferred.
  • Recent in-house public company experience in similar role.
  • Experience with various SEC forms and filings.
  • Understanding of US federal and state taxation and general global taxation of equity transactions.
